TASK
A team for working with innovations

To find a leader
who has relevant experience that will form a sustainable business model and a scalable monetization system.
To build a team
taking into account the changing market demands and requirements for the functionality of the future team, as well as cross-interaction with an adjacent structure

"The accelerator market is quite young and there are no clear criteria/digitised indicators that could be used for selection yet.
How to measure hard competencies, how to identify a type of thinking that can potentially cope with infinite agile and be able to ground it?
In addition, the number of specialists with relevant experience in this field is very limited and mainly concentrated in Moscow, working in the headquarters of international corporations. The lack of competencies in the regional market greatly complicated the search process. This was also imposed by the need to distribute the functionality based on the newly emerging business model."

Team-building

We studied the needs
We interviewed the founder of the accelerator, identifying the goals and objectives of the company, as well as the requirements for the future employee.
Initially, we planned to look only for a project manager who would oversee the work of the accelerator.

But as a result, we decided that we need an accelerator manager who will finalize the business model, outline indicators and manage the team.
We looked around
We benchmarked Russian and international experience.
We analysed the work of existing development institutes, universities, corporate accelerators in St. Petersburg and Moscow.

We have compiled a list of potentially suitable candidates.
We hunted the leader
We found and invited candidates from the compiled list for interviews. After all the stages of the interviews, a specialist with relevant experience, necessary skills and ambitions was chosen to launch a new accelerator model.

We completed the team
Along with the completion of the accelerator business model by the new head, we compiled the organisational structure and cut the functionality for the future team (based on the accelerator KPI), described the necessary competencies and job profiles.

It was decided to close some of the directions using the resources of an adjacent structure.
As a result, the accelerator team was assembled, which, in addition to the head, included GR and PR specialists, a tech broker, a tracking manager, a community manager, and an account manager.
We started to support
Support in terms of further possible requests for new competencies, updating the needs of the accelerator manager, as well as synchronizing his vision with the request of a key customer.
RESULTS OF THE WORK
